Recent additions to healthnz.govt.nz include an extensive publications section and a news section to share our stories with everyone and a specific landing page for news and newsletters more catered for Health Professionals.
The ‘Career’ section of the website has been updated to include a new bespoke menu specific to job seekers, making it simpler and easier to explore the possibilities of working for Health New Zealand.
Clinical information in focus
There is strong demand from health professionals and the wider sector for reliable information. It can be hard to know where to look or where to direct patients.
It is exciting to see the development on the site of a bespoke experience to meet the needs of health professionals and the broader sector. All clinical content on the Health New Zealand corporate website tewhatuora.govt.nz is being reviewed and migrated to HealthNZ.govt.nz – with the aim to have one front door for our content before the end of May 2026. While preserving clinical accuracy, the web team is working with clinicians to update content, ensuring compliance with Government Web Standards and the Plain Language Act 2022. Clinical documents will be reviewed and moved to appropriate repositories during this process.
