Medtech Global today announced the departure of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Geoffrey Sayer. This marks the conclusion of a transformative chapter in Medtech’s history.
Geoffrey joined Medtech Global as CEO and MD in 2020 and has since played a pivotal role in reshaping the business, leading it through a period of significant growth and innovation. Under his leadership, Medtech has solidified its position as a market leader in healthcare technology solutions—particularly in the areas of interoperability and payments.
Throughout his tenure, Geoffrey remained a passionate advocate for general practice, patient care and a staunch supporter of the work done by healthcare professionals across New Zealand and Australia. His leadership was marked not only by operational improvements but also by a deep commitment to the broader healthcare community.
Reflecting on his time at Medtech, Geoffrey said:
“I am very humbled to have been the custodian of this great business over the past five years. It has been a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team and to contribute to improving healthcare outcomes. New CEO Appointment: Jeremy van de Klundert
Medtech is pleased to announce that Jeremy van de Klundert, previously the company’s Chief Revenue Officer, will be stepping into the role of CEO. Jeremy brings extensive leadership experience from the health sector across both New Zealand and Australia, with a strong track record of delivering results and building collaborative partnerships.
