• Health services: Through Ora Toa Health Services, Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira offers high-quality, low-cost primary health care to Māori and non-Māori living within the Porirua and Wellington regions.
• Education and employment: Providing grants and scholarships to Ngāti Toa members pursuing tertiary education, and supporting tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau in their educational journeys to develop future leaders.
• Social services: Offering a range of social services to support the well-being and prosperity of Ngāti Toa whānau and the wider community.
• Housing and developments: Working on creating strong communities with well-made homes, allowing people to live happy and healthy lives, and providing opportunities for Ngāti Toa iwi members to return home to live on their whenua.
• Environmental management: Engaging in resource and environmental management to protect and enhance the natural resources within the iwi's rohe.
• Cultural revitalisation: Promoting and preserving Ngāti Toa's cultural identity through various initiatives and programmes.
