Te Awhi Whānau Charitable Trust provides kaupapa Māori mental health and addictions support across Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland), operating since 1994. Its services include acute crisis support, residential rehabilitation, respite, community living support, and programmes for children with behavioural or emerging mental health needs, delivered through residential facilities and in-home support.
Target customer: Whanau Maori in the Waikato and Te Tai Tokerau regions who need mental health and addictions support, delivered through a kaupapa Maori model.
