DHA SIG – Emerging Personalised Healthcare Industry Group (EPHIG) – March 2026
11:00 am – 12:00 pm
The Emerging Personalised Healthcare Industry Group (EPHIG) is held every two months.
The EPHIG covers digital health that relates to AI and LLM, Big Data, genomics, virtual, personalised medicine, and remote healthcare.
The group is co-chaired by Brendan Swan, Personalised Healthcare Squad Lead, Roche.
This session features two excellent speakers:

Dr Diana Siew is a medtech innovation specialist and co-founder of several national initiatives including the Consortium for Medical Device Technologies and the Medtech-iQ innovation hub at the University of Auckland. Diana will share an update on Medtech-iQ Aotearoa and its objectives, touch on Digital Twins work coming out of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, and give a look at some of the projects in the early-stage pipeline.

Associate Professor Chris Paton is Editor in Chief of BMJ Digital Health & AI and author of the Textbook of Digital Health, and will be sharing his latest research and views on AI in health.
It is a session that speaks directly to the work many are doing across personalised healthcare and AI, and not to be missed.
