The Emerging Personalised Healthcare Industry Group (EPHIG) is held every two months.  

The EPHIG covers digital health that relates to AI and LLM, Big Data, genomics, virtual, personalised medicine, and remote healthcare.   

The group is chaired by Brendan Swan, Personalised Healthcare Squad Lead, Roche.

Juliet Oliver – Founder and CEO, Endo45

Juliet built Endo45 after living with severe endometriosis herself. The platform supports people with endometriosis, adenomyosis, and chronic pelvic pain, combining patient-generated data, behaviour change, and clinically safe AI to extend care between appointments.

Her presentation, Beyond Diagnosis: Precision Support for Patients with Endometriosis, uses endometriosis as a case study for a wider challenge: how do you support people with complex chronic conditions in the spaces where the health system cannot reach them? For members working in AI, patient-facing digital tools, or chronic disease management, this is a practical look at what precision health needs to solve beyond diagnosis.

Dr Robyn Whittaker – Clinical Director, HealthX

Dr Whittaker is an international expert in mobile health interventions, an appointed member of the WHO Digital Health Technical Advisory Group, and has held senior clinical innovation roles within Health NZ.

Robyn will reflect on HealthTech Week 2026, which brought together over 1,000 attendees and 97 speakers in Auckland in late June. She will cover the key themes that emerged and what they mean for industry in the months ahead. If you did not attend, this is an efficient way to get across what mattered.
