Third Age Health is the leader in managed health care services for Aged Residential Care Facilities, Private Hospitals and Secure Dementia facilities.
Tony is the CEO of Third Age Health and prior to that was at ProCare Health as CFO and GM of Corporate Services overseeing the Technology portfolio for ProCare as well as the commercial, financial management and other corporate functions of the organisation.
Tony has been serving as a board member of DHA for the last 5 years (elected member for 2 terms and co-opted for a year) and is DHA’s current Deputy Chair. He has actively contributed to the current success of the organisation. Tony is also serving on the board of Kaikaranga (the Auckland disability NASC), other health organisations and has been involved in a consulting capacity across the sector including the MoH.
He is a fully qualified accountant, holding both NZ (CA) and UK (CIMA) professional accountancy qualifications. He has more than 20 years finance and management experience working across healthcare technology and FMCG organisations.
Prior to that he held the role as CFO/COO of Atlantis Healthcare Group where he helped in setting up the respective behavioural health technology businesses in Atlantis' international expansion through Europe and the USA, as well as guiding the technology and finance teams of the organisation.
Tony has also worked in senior finance roles in some of New Zealand's largest companies (including Fonterra Brands and Fletcher Challenge) and has also run several successful start-ups and high growth companies.
