The GIHIG is a representative special interest industry group of digital health companies and organisations that export or import digital health products and services as well as those who wish to learn more about exporting to overseas markets. This is a key recommendation of our Health Tech Opportunities Report Hauora, Mauri Ora: Enabling a Healthier Aotearoa New Zealand. We want to support those members that currently export or import their goods and services as well as provide industry collaboration and advice to those who wish to learn how to export. We have also engaged with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and the Department of International Trade UK, who will be regular attendees of this group.

The GIHIG will also be representative of digital health companies and organisations who wish to focus on and help improve procurement-related matters and subsequent issues within the digital health industry. Our vision is that the GIHIG is able to collaborate and advocate for stronger procurement processes through working together.

The GIHIG meets virtually on the first Thursday of every second month, at 9am.
