Latest Customer Announcement - Hospital Aleman, Argentina

MEG is delighted to announce Hospital Aleman in Buenos Aires as the latest addition to our expanding client base. Hospital Aleman has come on board, using MEG’s integrated Quality Management System (QMS) modules to support the hospital in efficiently monitoring care quality standards and complying with the requirements for JCI’s hospital accreditation programme.

ABOUT HOSPITAL ALEMAN

Hospital Aleman (German Hospital) in Buenos Aires is positioned as one of the leading institutions in highly complex medicine in Latin America and has the international accreditation granted by the  Joint Commission International, an independent body that evaluates hospital quality in health centres worldwide.

It has more than 800 health professionals, 105 residents and around 2,000 administrative employees. It has 264 beds, 24 of them highly complex, 11 operating rooms and 60 consulting rooms. It has carried out more than 900 transplants, has 1,400 births per year and almost 28,000 annual hospitalizations. In addition, it has its own health plan with more than 50,000 members, and directly or indirectly employs more than 3,000 people.

As part of the JCI accreditation process, the hospital regularly undergoes an intense evaluation process to measure and improve the quality and safety of their services. Hospital Aleman employ MEG’s JCI and Hospital Accreditation tools to significantly improve efficiency in monitoring quality, managing compliance and evidencing continuous improvement, as per the requirements of JCI’s hospital accreditation programme.
