The EPHIG Meeting (September 2025) focuses on cutting-edge AI innovation and genomic integration in healthcare. Co-chaired by Brendan Swan and Steven Dodd, the session includes updates from DHA CEO and features two specialist presentations. Tatahau (Sonny) Taite, Director of Innovation and AI at Health New Zealand, will discuss problem statements surrounding AI implementation across Te Whatu Ora, drawing from his experience leading Health X to fast-track emerging AI technology benefits. Dr Natalie Thorne, Chief Scientific Officer at Genomical, will present on embedding genomics across digital health systems to realise personalised healthcare, exploring how genomic data can be integrated into existing healthcare infrastructure for improved patient outcomes.
