Over 100 applications received

ACC's Innovation Fund stage one applications closed on 24 February 2022. ACC had an outstanding response with over 100 applications received, despite the challenges the health sector is facing.

The stage one evaluation has been completed and ACC are pleased to announce they have shortlisted 11 applications to move through to stage two of the process.

As this is an ongoing procurement process, ACC are unable to share who has been shortlisted. However, they can share the general themes of the applications:

  • programme delivery redesign or process changes aligned to where we have shortages in the workforce
  • holistic rehabilitation programs designed specifically for Māori and Pasifika
  • data integration platform proposals for internal and external ACC data.

All unsuccessful applicants have also been contacted and ACC recognise this may not be the outcome they hoped for. To support our unsuccessful applicants further, they can request additional information to understand how their proposal was evaluated, and its strength and weaknesses. This may be useful when applying for our funds in the future.

ACC have received a lot of support for this initiative, and they'd like to thank you for that. With your support, the high number of applications and their calibre, there is a possibility that this fund will be available in the future.
