Valentia Technologies is proud to announce that its Nurse Support System (NSS) platform will be instrumental in enabling Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand (BCFNZ) to launch a nationwide programme aimed at improving adherence to Adjuvant Endocrine Therapy (AET) for breast cancer patients across the country. This initiative will leverage multimodal digital channels to deliver personalised care and support, ensuring that patients receive consistent, evidence-based treatment.

Malik Rizwan, Senior Telehealth Specialist at Valentia Technologies, expressed enthusiasm for the programme, stating, “By integrating evidence-based data with advanced telehealth capabilities, our goal is to support BCFNZ in providing tailored care that improves patient outcomes. We are pleased to be part of this initiative to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of cancer therapy.”

The Nurse Support System (NSS) will play a crucial role in managing patient data, coordinating care pathways, and facilitating communication among BCFNZ, healthcare providers, and patients. Additionally, the system will support risk stratification to identify and assist high-risk patients more effectively.

The programme is scheduled to launch in early 2025, with several organisations collaborating to establish a consistent care framework for patients prescribed Adjuvant Endocrine Therapy (AET) across New Zealand, regardless of their location.

Valentia Technologies remains committed to advancing digital health solutions that empower healthcare providers and improve cancer care. With the upcoming launch of this programme, the company looks forward to continuing its collaboration with BCFNZ and other partners to ensure that every patient has access to the support they need to achieve the best possible outcomes on their treatment journey.
