CNWL is rolling out the Tendable Audit App (previously called Perfect Ward) across all inpatient sites, including CAMHs, Eating Disorders and physical health inpatient services.
Tendable is a new way to complete audits and will replace the current audit processes at the Trust, including paper, spreadsheets and IQVIA based audits.
The aim is to make completion of audits quicker, freeing up time for ward staff to care for patients. It will also make results more accessible and encourage the creation of action plans, so that issues can be identified and fixed more quickly.
Once live, the app will cover many of the ward audits including Hand Hygiene, Environmental, Rapid Tranquilisation, Infection, Prevention and Control Checklist, Controlled Drugs and more.
Initial feedback from CNWL staff during the testing phase of the app was positive. Staff described Tendable as “easy to use” and making audit completion “much quicker than before”. They also said they could easily train members of their team on how to use it.
They hope their staff continue to find this new app beneficial in streamlining the audit process, improving patient safety and the quality of care we provide at CNWL.
