Stuart Bloomfield takes interim chief data and digital role

Stuart Bloomfield, chief digital officer at Waitematā and Counties Manukau DHBs, has been appointed interim chief data and digital at Interim Health NZ.

Chief executive of interim Health NZ, Margie Apa, said in a staff announcement that Bloomfield will replace deputy director general data and digital Shayne Hunter, who announced he was stepping down last month.

“Bloomfield’s role will involve establishing a leadership team that produces a national picture of all the data and digital investments across the system, and the status of those investments,” she said.
