About the Role

The Sysmex digital health portfolio is on an exciting trajectory of modernisation and transitioning to the cloud. The role of Product Manager Health will help define the success and market growth of the Sysmex IT product suite. 

You will be responsible for capturing the voice of the customer, collating market intelligence, prioritising the product roadmap and delivering the go-to-market strategy. As the interface between the market and our customers and the product development team, you will be skilled at understanding needs and anticipating market trends and synthesizing them into software requirements that guide our future product development. Key to the role is managing marketing activities for pre-sales and product promotion.

This role reports to the head of sales and marketing and is supported by product marketing specialists; you will work closely with the product owners and delivery teams based in New Zealand as well as our R&D team in Malaysia.  

Essential to the role is collaboration with Sysmex affiliates and key stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region and our customer base.   

About You

  • A background in medical software product management and/or marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of the product lifecycle management and agile development methodology
  • An excellent understanding of the laboratory and clinical information systems market and trends and technologies that will shape future development
  • Extra skills that will be advantageous to your application include clinical qualifications/ experience in medical laboratory sciences
