Kia ora  we’re Webtools

Our vision is frictionless technology for happier, healthier humans. This means we strive for frictionless experiences for end-users, our customers, and our team (that could be you!).

We’re here to shake things up, think big, and deliver quality products that drive change. Collaboration is at the core of what we do; we love to work closely with our partners from a range of sectors, including many in the health industry

We're located in Ōtautahi Christchurch and we’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our tight-knit team. It’s tricky to write a job description that speaks 100% to everyone, so even if you’re not sure this role is for you - send in an application anyway and let us know which parts sound like you (or sound less like you).

So what’s the role?

As a Business Analyst you will be expected to work closely with the product team, customers and the development team to determine business requirements, discuss solutions, help build out backlogs and communicate them to the development team to foster a shared understanding and ownership.  You will be willing to jump in and assist with product ownership, documentation and user acceptance testing from time to time.

You will also be invited to attend health industry events including networking events, training sessions and conferences.

Here’s how we would describe you!

So, you’re a business analyst… that much we know.

  • Typically 4+ years business analysis experience in a software development environment. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent understanding and experience working with Agile principles
  • Good attention to detail but also the ability to summarise that detail in a consumable manner
  • Ability to work across multiple projects from time to time
  • Be a motivated team player and willing to try new things.
  • Experience in the health domain is desired but not essential.

And finally, to sweeten the deal…

  • We have a fun, motivating and connected company culture
  • There are flexible working opportunities (WFH etc.)
  • You’ll get an annual professional development budget
  • Co-working environment with regular social events
  • Craft beer!

One last thing!
