Your Opportunity:

We are now looking for a Technical Consultant to join Philips Healthcare, to ensure the delivery of Healthcare IT solutions to customers continues to be world class. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity within Philips Healthcare. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of Healthcare IT solutions on customer sites.

As Technical Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement in the full spectrum of the solution, from order acquisition through to the technical execution and installation.
  • Assessment of customer environment to determine specific requirements and needs
  • Assisting in defining the requirements of the solution, and completion of required documentation
  • Lead the design, configuration, installation and integration of Philips Healthcare systems into the customers' IT environment
  • Support your Philips colleagues in delivering their roles with the customer – i.e., engineers, application specialists, account managers
  • Ensure all necessary actions for the project are completed
  • Put in place measures to ensure customer satisfaction

We Are Looking For

Advanced knowledge of Oracle 10 and 11 DB configuration pertaining to Radiology Information System (RIS) deployments. This include, but not limited to:

  • Oracle DB Administration, including handling of data files, tablespaces, schemas etc
  • Oracle Patching
  • Oracle RAC and redundancy scenarios
  • Oracle Data guard and high availability best practices
  • Oracle Flashback
  • Oracle Wallet, security and encryption essentials
  • Integration of Oracle based RIS solutions with customer deployed Microsoft SQL Server solutions - synchronisation and migration strategies and methodologies
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server - administration and patching
  • Knowledge of event driven interfacing using queues, Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise standards
  • Advanced Configuration and coding for integration engines like Vue EIS.
  • Knowledge and operation in Multithreaded environments
  • Development / support of integration components (Visual Studio, .Net, Java, J2EE, COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, Soap, etc.)
  • Proficient in Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019, IIS, Virtualisation technologies
  • A passion for problem solving and the design of tailored IT solutions and products
  • Experience in training, educating and influencing others
  • Outstanding relationship building and communication skills
  • High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results
  • An ability and willingness to travel
  • A commitment to add value to our customers and their businesses
